Due to the nature of the internet and internet communications, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you or to data corruption, interception or delays, outwith our control.
3. Copyright. No photography, imagery, text, source code and any other material shown on www.compassboxwhisky.com may be reproduced or redistributed without our prior written permission.
4. Payment Methods. Payment can be made by debit or credit card online, using the following cards: VISA, VISA Delta, Mastercard, Switch, American Express and Solo.
5. Returns Policy. Our policy is to ensure that all products supplied to all our customers arrive in perfect condition. If you are unhappy with products purchased (other than perishable products) which are not faulty, we will happily refund your money, (excluding the delivery charge), or exchange the products if you inform us within 7 days after the day following the delivery of the goods.
Any returned products must be returned to us in good condition, with all packaging intact. All refunds and reimbursements will be paid within 30 days of your notifying us about returning the products. Any product returned must be within its original packaging and adequately packed to avoid any possible damage. The cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the customer.
6. Minimum Legal Age. We may only sell alcohol products to those over the age of 18. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or the minimum legal age for purchasing alcohol products in your country of residence.
7. Taxes and Duties. Alcoholic beverage products sold at www.compassboxwhisky.com or through Compass Box Whisky Company’s fulfillment partner Speciality Drinks Ltd are subject to UK taxation. If we are sending products to an address within the European Union (EU), prices are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT). If we are sending to an address outside the EU, we will not charge VAT, although your order may be subject to local taxes and duties upon arrival in your country, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you will need to contact your local customs office if you require further information.
8. Delivery. Please note, deliveries are made Monday through Friday during business hours. To ensure prompt delivery, someone must be present to sign for the parcel. After processing, (which may be subject to delay if we are out of stock of any items ordered, in which case we will notify you), all orders are despatched for delivery within 2 to 3 days to most mainland destinations in the UK, within 3 to 4 days for much of Western Europe, and within 5 to 6 days for the rest of Europe. For international orders outside of these areas, delivery times vary depending on location. See the “Shipping” section of this website for expected delivery times on a country-by-country basis. Delivery charges are calculated based on the weight of the product and the destination address.
